Great news – BHS has released a new selection of bridesmaid collections for winter 2009.  The colours are bold and beautiful with both maxi bridesmaid dresses in deep wine and magenta and short, chic and fun bridesmaid dresses in fabulous hot red and fuchsia pink.   Some wonderful bridesmaid dresses in two key styles one that is young and stylish and the other perfect for a more elegant and sophisticated bridesmaid look.

The vibrant colours of red and pink work well on the Venezia and the Roma.  The Roma is pleat bodice knee length dress and comes with detachable straps.  The Venezia’s over sized bow detail sumptuous taffeta fabric with flared skirt makes this my favourite bridesmaid dress in the collection.  Both are priced at a respectable £90 and come in sizes 6 – 22.

Elegant & Demure

If your wedding is about elegance and sophistication and you prefer the look of the traditional bridesmaid dress then the beautiful floor length Milano bridesmaid dress in deep Merlot could be ideal. It comes with a matching stole and the bodice has sophisticated beading detail.  Alternatively, for adding a bit of wow factor glamour the sumptuous satin Sienna in deep magenta is a fab option.  Both have a price tag of £120 and sizes available range from 6 – 22.
